Love This Time of Year

I absolutely love this time of the year when all the country lanes are ablaze with colour, especially all the red of Poppies and the blue of Cornflowers, every year the wild Poppy seeds get spread further and further down the lane to make this splendid display of Poppies that stretches for miles as a blazing sea of red, although I don't think my photos do them the justice they deserve

At this time of year it never gets boring driving down the lane, in fact this year has been the most beautiful ever, I'm sure that has a lot to do with the excess amount of rain we've had this year

I really need to start wearing my glasses when taking photos, I was convinced I was taking a picture of a Bee on this Cornflower, but it looks more like a common housefly now I have my glasses on, but I guess I'm not the only one who's ever taken a picture of something and thought it was something else at the time

I don't know what it is that draws me to Poppies, but they're so strong the way they grow here every year with cars constantly driving past them as it's a short cut for many people onto the main duel carriageway

If you want to see more of my photos of Poppies check out my other blog which I no longer write here to see some of the Poppies that come up in my garden every year

Thank you so much for stopping by and we hope you enjoyed our post, we love comments and love to make new friends through blogging

Having had such a long break from blogging after we sadly lost the star of this blog Badger Boo, we're now excited to be back so you can get to know our new stars Boris and Eko

For the longest time we toyed with the idea of leaving the format the same, but in the end we realised it was that which was holding us back from returning to blogging again, it was just too hard

Boris and Eko will continue to carry on with Badgers legacy by telling all their stories from a dogs point of view, but I will also be posting here about my life, photography, crafts, reviews, travel and anything else that springs to mind as I no longer write my original blog "Me Myself and I"

At the moment we're enjoying finding our way around all the Blog Hops again, discovering new friends as well as catching up with some old ones

It's really great to discover that blogging is still very much alive and thriving as it was before our break xxx
