Lazy and Fat; I'm Not...

My hoomans often call me lazy these days, in fact the other day mummy accused me of getting FAT!
How rude is that, she really hurt my feelings! **sobs quietly into paws**

Admittedly I don't run about so much these days, I've started to enjoy my food more than in my youth and I like to sleep a lot more now too, but I'm 12 years young, if a pup can't relax at my age when can I?

The ladies still love me, so I don't see a problem, and I still have a fair old turn of speed and can make them pesky squirrels a run for their lives.

Then mummy mentioned going on a diet, which I thought would be a good thing for her to do as she's **cough cough* how do I put this nicely?
No why should I be nice, she was rude to me **shouts out** SHE'S FAT!
Whereas I'm just a tiny bit chunky, gosh I feel much better for saying that out loud **glances round quickly to see if she's about**

It turns out she meant I was going on a diet, I have no idea what this means for me. I'm not very happy about it, especially if she tries to stop giving me my afternoon chewy.
Somepup may have to post me food supplies through the letterbox to stop me getting hungry, I promise not to nip your fingers like I try too with the postman.

You wouldn't believe the things I have to put up with.

The other night I was having a nice comfy snooze in my favourite spot, dreaming about chasing Stalker Cat and Bunnies.

When suddenly I was awoken by the sound of giggles and that pesky camera going off, I was not best pleased I can tell you, I'd so very nearly caught up to that pesky Stalker Cat.

One day they'll let me sleep in peace **paws crossed**

Hope you all have a pawsome weekend.

Its Been a While...

Hello everyone, sorry it's been a while since last updated on here.
I decided to take a month off from crafting, because after a very hectic December and Himself being so unwell I was exhausted both physically and mentally.

I just needed to stop and take some time out, I continued to knit for myself and spent a cold and dark Christmas, Godalming was seriously hit with floods and power cuts you may have seen it on the news, unpicking and reknitting a jumper that I'd made, I've lost so much weight since I made it, it needed the
sleeves and body drastically shortened.

I've still been reading your blogs and keeping up with your goings on, although not always commenting.
Something I have been seeing a lot about lately is Digi Stamps, I have to confess I wasn't to sure about them at first, but as I couldn't seem to get my MoJo back and get back into crafting, I decided to have a play around with one of the free ones on Handmade Harbour, a sort of try before you buy offer.
I opted to try the Elephant one as I love Elephants, it was really easy to download and resize, I did have a few problems printing it out and trying to get it on the right side of the card, but I think that was more to do @ me being computer illiterate than anything wrong with the stamp.

I decided to play around with my watercolours which is a technique I'm trying to learn at the moment and I was very happy with the result. I also used the "So Many Smiles..." stamp from Stampin Up Petite Pairs. @

I've linked this post to the Midweek Papercraft Challenge and Smile it's the Weekend.

Have a great weekend and I'll see you next week.

Mud Mud Glorious Mud

As much as mummy moans at me for rolling in the Fox's Poopy I'm pretty sure she's glad I'm not like this pup!

**thinks**
But what's to stop me trying it next time I'm out with all the rain and flood water around here at the moment.
Ok maybe not the mud, but how abouts a muddy puddle? That could be fun too!
 **muffled giggles behind paws**

Do you think mummy will mind?
I don't care! I'm doing it next time we go out.
**sniggers**
She's gonna get a surprise BOL.

It's Bathtime!!!

I had to have a bath this morning, just because I rolled in a tiny bit of Fox's Poopy.
How mean is that?

I sometimes think mummy takes just a little bit too much pleasure in doing these mean things to me.
BUT
As much as I hate having a bath, I love getting dried afterwards. I have my own special towel and I can do it all by myself.
I think you'll agree that's pretty clever.

Although preferably without the bath bit!

Good Riddance 2013

I don't know about you but I'm glad to see the back of 2013, it has been a terrible year for us.

I was forced into Medical Retirement from a job I loved 3 days before Christmas in 2012, which has resulted in me struggling to learn to survive on a tiny pension. Being unable to get a job and not qualifying for any benefits, this year has involved much tightening

Happy New Year

Happy New Year to all my pawsome followers.

My New Years Resolutions

Change the "Three second rule" to the "Five second rule"
(I'm getting slower in my old age)

Continue to make Stalker Cats life as difficult as possible.

Retrain the hoomans that if it's edible it's mine.

Sniff more butts.

Send more pee mails.

Spread as much love as I can around the world.

Last but not least:-

Keep up to date with my blogging.

I think that just about covers it, but being the cheeky pup I am I reserve the right to change them at any time.
 BOL

Christmas Day here was a sad affair, with floods and power cuts in our local area.

It was cold and damp with no Christmas Dinner as we are all electric so mummy couldn't cook it.

We went out for a walk and I was shocked to find my favourite field was under water!

I wanted to go swimming but mummy said No as it was far to dangerous with fast moving water. So we wandered along to the Boat House.

I couldn't believe it, everywhere was flooded it was devastating!!!
Apparently Godalming even made the News on the TV but we never saw it as we had no power.

Luckily for us our house is on top of a big hill so we didn't get wet, but here are some pictures mummy took of the canal overflowing.

Luckily the floods didn't stop Santa Paws from getting through, so all was well at Boo Boo Towers.

Wishing you all a happy and healthy 2014.
