That Christmas Pudding

The other day I was sooo pleased when mummy came came home with a present for me.  I set about getting it unwrapped as soon as possible, looking forward to my prize inside.

She said it was a Christmas Pudding.

I did thinks that was a bit odd as Christmas Pudding can make doggies very ill if eaten.

Soon as I gets it out of the packet to tuck into, I gets a mouthful of stuffing.

It was a toy one BOL.

Silly trick mummy.

Midnight Snack Time?

Daddy is the best playmate ever, he really knows how to play good games, unlike mummy who moans when I bark and bounce about too much.

Here he is trying to confuse me, but I'm far too clever for him.

Not bad for an old dog am I? I've Still got plenty of bounce left in me BOL

The hoomans did play a mean trick on me the other day though. We went out in the House on Wheels, the first time in AGES. I got so excited I thought we was going to the seaside.

But No!

We went to the boring old Car Doctor instead, to get the House on Wheels it's MOT. 

Not sure what one of them is, but they is happy it passed.

Apparently it's all legal again after its long rest because daddy has been ill, and I've been promised we will be going away in it again very soon.

 I so miss the seaside and I'm sure daddy would feel so much better after a little trip down to East Wittering and playing fetch with me in the sea.

Gotta go now, as it sounds like it's mummys Midnight Snack time in the kitchen, and there might be something for little old me out there **paws crossed**

I Never Expected That!

Driving along in Surrey you just don't expect to see a windmill, soon as I saw this I just had to turn the car around to get a picture. 

I'm not sure if it's a working one or somebodies house as it looks fully restored, but I intend to do some research on it and find out.

Watch Out, Watch Out There's a Thief About!

I can't believe what "She Who Must Be Obeyed has put as this weeks title!

I'm no thief!

 If they are silly enough to leave stuff lying around, then that's not thieving.

 Check out the Cocker Spaniel Property Laws everypawdy, you know I'm right.

It all started when we went to the allotment last week which mummy wrote about on her blog.

 First I got moaned at for doing a Botty Burp in the car on the way home, they said it smelt bad!

Can you believe that?

I think Hoomans need to take a good sniff at themselves sometimes, it's not easy living around them with such a sensitive nose, but we do because we love them, even if they do judge us pups.

Then when we gets home, I gets moaned at for supposedly stealing a Cauliflower. 

Nom Nom Nom

I didn't steal it, it was on the floor with lots of others and apples.

Smile it's Friday

Poor daddy had a few complications with his operation hence my missing post last week, "She Who Must be Obeyed" forgot to do it! 

Normally I'd give her a good telling off for such a grave error, but I'll let it slide this one time as she has been a bit stressed out.

I've been keeping Daddy amused and giving him lots of cuddles as he's been in a lot of pain since he got home. Them Hooman Vets are as mean as The Nasty Vet lady as far as I can make out. 

I wonder if the same things happen to Hoomans as happens to us pups **flashback starts** ?

**shakes head to remove the memory**

I love to help getting the pill boxes ready for recycling, as they can't go in the bin whole.

It really is the most pawsome fun :o)

But then a certain someone always has to come along and have a moan about the mess, bet you can guess who I mean? 

Things are slowly returning to normal here at "Boo Boo Towers" for the time being. 

Although Daddy has to go back to hospital soon for another operation which is pawsitively annoying.

Me and Daddy would like to say a massive Thank You for all your lovely messages of support.

 The pain he's in is very draining, but you keep us all strong.

Good luck having your operation today daddy.

I wish I could come to the hospital and keep an eye on those hooman vet's for you and keep you company, but the meanies won't let me.

Don't worry though I'll keep your spot on the sofa warm for when you gets home.

I has my paws crossed and sending you healing thoughts all day.

A Quick Round Up

Hello and welcome its Smile it's Friday time again.

Things have warmed up again over here in the UK, but we've not been out and about very much, so here's a few pics of me in the sun with my spiffing new haircut and a little bit of why my posts have dropped off a bit lately. 

Daddy is in in lots of pain still and is having another operation next week, so it'll be "Nurse Badger" duties for me again.

I'll be giving daddy lots cuddles and attention, also putting my tiny feet in places that hurt to help him on the road to recovery. 

He loves it when I do that, as you know the louder hoomans say your name, the more they love you and want you to carry on what your doing.

Mummy has been busy making stuff for her first Craft Fair in my bedroom, the floor is now covered with these horrid little sticky things, bits of paper and lots of mess all over the place.

They're all in my VetBed and stuck in my ears, although they're out of my ears now cos I's been groomed, but you knows what I mean, just take a look at the state of her desk.

What a mess!!!  **shakes head in disbelief**

You can just see the my VetBed in the bottom left corner, directly in the firing line for the bin **resigned sigh*

 Me thinks she's trying to take over my room and drive me out!

 I will NOT allow her to take over in there, I'm holding my very own Sit-In and I will win cos I sleeps and refuses to move out of her way if she wants to get past BOL

Mummy was trying to get a picture of me chillaxing in the sun on daddy's lap, but this pesky Sea Gull kept sneaking into shot!

She finally got the shot, I think I look pretty damn handsome in it too, even if I do say so my self.

I love playing with daddy he is so much fun.

 BUT sometimes he can be VERY annoying! 

Like when he makes my stuffed Toys come to life to try and confuse me.

Silent Sunday

Reporting for Duty

Last weekend was the start of the pawsome Godalming StayCation. This little town where I lives with my hoomans lays on a week of activities open to all who live here and in the surrounding areas every August.

Nurse Badger

Please can I have one?

I attended with my mummy and we went and sat in the First Aid tent with daddy. He was on duty with the lovely Jo, she's gorgeous and always gives this old pup lots of cuddles and loving **swoons at the memories**

 I've made it my unofficial job to be Nurse Badger and look after the kids and some adults of Godalming that may be in need of any

First Aid cuddles and licks whilst I'm on duty.

The place was packed out, the music was pawsome, luckily we weren't to close this time, and it didn't hurt my ears I was able to enjoy it with the hoomans. 
We were situated right next to the Ice Cream van and you knows how much I loves ice cream! 
As I sat watching everypawdy queuing to get one and begging, not one hooman was generous enough to go and get me one. 

We all went for a wander around later and daddy got mummy a milkshake and a sausage in a roll, when she finished what she wanted I got to finish the rest.

There was a slight technical hitch though, I got my nose stuck in the plastic beaker!
