Happy 1st Birthday Boris

I'd forgotten how much work puppies were! Boy did you re educate me quickly, with the digging up of my lovely garden, the almost constant removal of slugs and stones from your mouth, the endless trips outside every hour on the hour day and night to potty, it took you weeks to get the hang of toilet training didn't it, where did all that poop come from in one so small?

I was exhausted after one week, had I made a mistake, I was starting to think so!
We've had fun times too didn't we and over time you started to learn. You learnt about the clicker and before long we were on a roll, learning new things everyday, you have such a powerful drive to learn and willingness to please it's amazing and I enjoyed teaching you too. We had a few problems along the way with your surgery but thankfully we had a good insurance policy from Pet Plan, so no need to worry about those thousands of pounds it cost to get you pain free.

I've loved every minute of our first year together, even the naughty ones. To me you're perfect in every way, the love of my life and bring so much joy and happiness too every single day.

Love, love, love swimming in the sea, much more fun than paddling in muddy puddles :)

  7. Doesn't time pass so quickly when you have a puppy - we've had Harry 6 months already! Love the video - I need to show it to Harry as he is still not sure about the sea. He's OK if the water is calm but does not do waves. Here's looking to many more happy years together with Boris and thank you for adding this post to #ANimalTales.

Thank you so much for stopping by and we hope you enjoyed our post, we love comments and love to make new friends through blogging

Having had such a long break from blogging after we sadly lost the star of this blog Badger Boo, we're now excited to be back so you can get to know our new stars Boris and Eko

For the longest time we toyed with the idea of leaving the format the same, but in the end we realised it was that which was holding us back from returning to blogging again, it was just too hard

Boris and Eko will continue to carry on with Badgers legacy by telling all their stories from a dogs point of view, but I will also be blogging about life in general, reviews and much more as we move forward on our new style blogging adventures, as I no longer write my original blog "Me Myself and I"

At the moment we're enjoying finding our way around all the Blog Hops again, discovering new friends as well as catching up with some old ones

It's really great to discover that blogging is still very much alive and thriving as it was before our break xxx
