Some Sad News

An awful lot has happened since I last posted but I'll tell you more about that in future posts.

Today I have to tell you the very sad news that Badger Boo crossed The Rainbow Bridge last Wednesday morning.

It was discovered a few weeks ago he was suffering with Pancreatitis and he was quite unwell, but with medication he soon rallied and became more his like his old self again for a while.

Then last Monday Badger wasn't his usual self, on his potty walk down the road on Tuesday afternoon he slipped off the kerb and was limping so badly that mum rushed him to the vet and mum was told he'd most likely broken his leg by the feel of it, as Badger wasn't in the best of health and quite elderly mum decided it was kinder to him to not put him through anything invasive, instead he was given a massive painkiller injection which made him very sleepy so that  he could comfortably came home and say goodbye to everypawdy before crossing the Rainbow Bridge

Badger spent the night sleeping on the sofa along with mum, dad and me, on Wednesday morning mum took him on his final trip to the vets where he passed away peacefully in mums arms wrapped in a big fluffy towel.

We miss you so much Badger Boo, but take comfort knowing that you're young and fit again at The Rainbow Bridge

RIP my little big brother.

  7. I had a horrible feeling this was what I was going to read on your #AnimalTales post and I am so so sorry this day had to come. Badger Boo looked such a lovely dog and I would love to have met him. You are right to take comfort from the fact is is young and fit again in the eternal playground and whilst his body is gone his spirit leaves so many lovely memories behind. Take care.
