Has Spring Sprung Early?

Perfect Day

Yesterday we had the most fabulous walk in the sunshine at our favourite place, we've not been there in a while due to one thing and another

We had the whole common to ourselves it felt like and unlimited walking time as I didn't have to rush off anywhere

A leisurely stroll with lots of photos, it feels like an absolute age since I last had the chance to actually enjoy a dog walk without waiting for the alarm to go off as a signal it's time to head back to the car

I was even able to finally recreate my most favourite photo of Boris with Eko, it's been tried many times but something has always been a bit off, but I'm now able to now put it alongside Boris's photo like a matching pair

My bulbs certainly think it's Spring and we already have a single Daffodil in flower with more in bud ready to burst forth, the yellow Daffodils with the large yellow trumpets are by far my most favourite of all the Daffodil varieties
I love them all but this is what I always think of as a true Daffodil, I don't know a great deal about flowers and only last year started growing flowers other than Sweet Peas on the allotment

Being February there's still a very real chance of the weather turning back into Winter once again here in the UK, but for now we'll enjoy the warmer weather for as long as it lasts

What's your favourite season of the year?

Ours is most definitely the Spring with the days getting warmer and new life bursting forth and it's time to put those thick Winter Wollies away for another year

Although Autumn is a close second, it's such a relief when the days start to cool down after a long hot Summer like we had last year, nothing compares to the beautiful autumnal colours as the trees prepare to shed their leaves as nature winds down to prepare for winter

  3. I like Autumn best and like cool weather more than heat. I am happy to see the snow we have in colorado but it's melting fast. I always wanted a cocker spaniel, my sister raised them for years and they are so soft, in fur and face. I love them all but covet a black and white one, heh heh., One day maybe. For now I have to stick with poodles because of allergies and I do love a poodle. I love all dogs (cats, donkeys, cows, horses, elephants, you get the idea)

    1. Poodles are amazing and one of my favourite breeds and a serious contender for my next dog. Re Cockers I love the blacks and blue roans as they don't seem to moult it the same way the golds and reds do, I can't believe how much coat Eko sheds overnight lol, thank you for stopping by xxx

  4. Boris and Eko looks like happy dogs. It is so nice to see daffodils were already blooming there as we still have lots of snow. We usually cruise Princess line and always enjoyed our cruises with them but the Disney Cruise is wonderful for families and children. Out next cruise may be a Royal Caribbean. It us nice t try different lines.

    1. Although it was positively spring like last week the bitterly cold weather is back again once more, I won't complain though as the sun is still shining and the rain is currently staying well away. Yes I agree re trying out the different cruise lines, variety is the spice of life xxx

    1. They're lots of fun and never stop clowning around, rumour has it that they never actually grow up, which I can vouch for with Badger Boo, he was still racing around like a puppy at nearly 14 years old lol xxx
