International Dog Day

The terrible twins are back, walking Boris in his stroller has made so much difference to his happiness levels, he's now back to his cheeky happy self again now that he's regularly coming out on walks with Eko and I  once more

I admit was starting to get a little worried for Boris as he always seemed so depressed because he was getting left at home and missing out, no amount of enrichment toys or chews seemed to lift his mood in a way that going for a walk does

On Thurday Boris and I headed over Lumbry Park so that Boris could have an

Bluebell Season

It's official Spring has finally arrived here in the UK, the sun is getting warmer and the Bluebells are now out filling our woodlands with luxurious carpets of blue

They're a little late blooming this year because it's been so wet and cold as Bluebells usually flower from late March to early May, although it does vary from year to year

They are one of the last spring flowers to bloom before the woodland

Looking for the magic in every moment

For the first time in ages yesterday we had no time limit for our walk, it was great to just have the time to go wherever the dogs led me

We were soon on a part of the common I'd not been too for a very long time, I used to often walk this route with Badger but it always felt so weird walking that way after he'd left us for the Rainbow Bridge, so I've always avoided it, but the boys wanted to go that way and I duly followed as it was their walk after all

The rain soon started and I wanted to turn around and head back but

Has Spring Sprung Early?

Perfect Day

Yesterday we had the most fabulous walk in the sunshine at our favourite place, we've not been there in a while due to one thing and another

We had the whole common to ourselves it felt like and unlimited walking time as I didn't have to rush off anywhere

A leisurely stroll with lots of photos, it feels like an absolute age

Bluebell Season

How I love the Bluebells at this time of year, but this year it just doesn't feel right to head out to our most favourite and secret Bluebell location without Dylan, Boris's brother

Dylan sadly Crossed the Rainbow Bridge over Lockdown, I didn't blog about it at the time as it wasn't my place too and I respect his mum too much, but every year we'd go to this location to photograph the Boys together

On our usual walks there are so few Bluebells and they're rarely blue, but the other day we found a very tiny and almost perfect patch, I remembered recently reading

Self Care is so Important

Boris says

We're back home after the most amazing holiday and back to walking on our favourite common once more
The holiday was to give mum some much needed respite from caring for her own mother since her stroke in April

It's been a very stressful time since it happened and has been making mum

National Dog Photography Day #nationaldogphotographyday

Today is National Dog Photography Day which was started by our good friend Kerry Jordon of Fur and Fables back in 2018 which you can read about here

Kerry is an amazing photographer and has photographed us on many occasions for various companies and products that she's worked with and needed a nutty Spaniel for. We love working with Kerry as she always captures the most amazing action shots of us, instead of your run of the mill sitting and posing photos

But I digress

Mum takes so many amazing photos of us as well as some pretty bad ones occasionally **roars with laughter** how is she supposed to find that one perfect photo of us to represent National Dog Photography Day, it was a tough one that's for sure
