Bluebell Woofs

Spring is my all time favourite season of the year
Everything bursts into life and the days start to shake off the chill of Winter
I love all the Spring flowers but my favourite by far has to be the Bluebell as it carpets the woodland floor and turns everything into an amazing blue
I hope one day to be able to do the amazing colour justice in a photograph

The British Bluebell is so very fragile and easily damaged that once you find a wood full of naturally occurring and unmanaged wild Bluebells like these in the photo above, then it tends to be a closely guarded secret as to it's location

Otherwise they will soon become trampled by many visitors walking through them and allowing their dogs to run through them. We always stick to the footpaths in the woods at this time of the year, any photographs of my dogs are always taken close to the footpath and then the path is edited out

Sadly not everybody is this considerate, instead they traipse through the Bluebells looking for their "perfect spot" to get the best photo they can, without a care for the damage it does to the flowers and spoils the enjoyment and beauty of the Bluebells in the woods for anybody else that follows

Do you have a favourite season and if so what do you love about it the most?

    1. Thank you for stopping by is there an arboretum near you, as they manage the woods and encourage the growth of the Bluebells. If there is they're great places to visit for the day, we have one managed by the National Trust near us x

  6. We have several places close to us that have Bluebells and like your doggies, K&K are not allowed to run through them. Occasionally I see a couple on their own when walking and always try to avoid them. This year I have noticed a load of 'Whitebells'. Late Spring/early summer is my favourite time of the year.

Thank you so much for stopping by and we hope you enjoyed our post, we love comments and love to make new friends through blogging

Having had such a long break from blogging after we sadly lost the star of this blog Badger Boo, we're now excited to be back so you can get to know our new stars Boris and Eko

For the longest time we toyed with the idea of leaving the format the same, but in the end we realised it was that which was holding us back from returning to blogging again, it was just too hard

Boris and Eko will continue to carry on with Badgers legacy by telling all their stories from a dogs point of view, but I will also be posting here about my life, photography, crafts, reviews, travel and anything else that springs to mind as I no longer write my original blog "Me Myself and I"

At the moment we're enjoying finding our way around all the Blog Hops again, discovering new friends as well as catching up with some old ones

It's really great to discover that blogging is still very much alive and thriving as it was before our break xxx
