A Day in the Life of a Media Hound

My day usually starts with a game of fetch with my most favorite of tennis balls, it's really old and nearly bald but I loves it so much.

If I'm really lucky and mummy has the time, we go to the canal for a swim, whatever the weather it doesn't matter. Us Cocker Spaniels are a hardly lot when it comes to swimming.

A couple of years ago, I tried to jump into the canal and it was frozen solid, so I ran along it instead, mummy was going mad calling me, she was scared the ice would break and I could get trapped underneath. Luckily I only weighs 9.5kgs so I was safe.

When we get back it's time for Breakfast, I loves to sit on the stairs, it gives me a clear view into the kitchen when she is getting my food or making her own.

Sitting here I never miss her drop something on the floor, those are the best surprises of the day. You'd be amazed at some of the tasty morsels I retrieve off the floor.

It's then time to chill out for a couple of hours.

I get to have a cow hoof or a ball full of treats to keep me busy until Miss Jackie, my walker, comes to take me out to play with my friends.

In the late afternoon, we goes to the allotment to say hello to the piggies.

I used to be allowed to play with them when they was small, but now they are getting big and some of the boy ones can be a bit aggressive, so I has to stay outside the fence now in case I gets hurt.

Then we go over to see the Turkeys, but I don't like them. Gosh they are so noisy, it hurts my little ears.

Mummy says one is coming to visit us at Christmas, all I say is, I'm not sharing my toys with it until it learns to be quiet and polite!

When we get back it's time for my Dinner and a well deserved nap, whilst the hoomans relax and watch the big picture box they seems to enjoy so much.

When I feel fully refreshed I have cuddles and play with daddy, but really it's a cover for the hardest part of my day.

It's time to discreetly update my media without the hoomans knowing what I am doing.

As you can see it's not an easy task, but I don't want them to know I'm so much cleverer than they are, so it's worth it **muffled giggles behind paws**

I has really jam packed days and it's pretty tiring, so once my media is updated, I shoot off upstairs to get myself a decent spot on the bed.

It's a tough life but somepup has to do it BOL

  1. What a great post, BB. Made me smile all the way through :-)
Especially the bit about getting the best spot on the bed - I know a Boxer dog who does the same x.

    1. A smile is what I hopes to achieve from my pawsome followers Miss Lesley.

Why should people have the best bed all to themselves? It's a dogs right to get there first BOL
